The sea looked and fled; The Jordan turned back.
The mountains skipped like rams, the hills like lambs. Psalm 114:3-4
Prayer - God your good creation suffers because of our negligence and sin. As I walk into this day, feeling the air and smelling the grass, may I come close to you and to the pleasure you have in what you created. Let your joy enter my soul that it might skip like a lamb. Let your peace enter my heart that I might have enough to share with those I meet. Amen

Be good to your servant while I live, that I may obey your word. Open my eyes that I may see wonderful things in your law. Psalm 119:17–18
Prayer - Dear God, guide me in how I can be of best service to you and the universe. Let me see and understand the wonders of your law. Help me to delight in your word and guide me to be of service and attend to others’ needs.

Then our sons in their youth will be like well-nurtured plants, and our daughters will be like pillars carved to adorn a palace. Psalm 144:12
Prayer - Gracious God, I accept your call on my life. You have saved me so that I can do your Kingdom work. This Psalm puts voice to strength. I see “well-nurtured” lives being fed by your word. I see “pillars carved to adorn palaces” as the work of your hands in creating lives of strength and beauty. Lord, strengthen me. Use me. Create in me the courage to watch where you are placing me each day and lead me to do your Kingdom work. Amen.

Who can utter the mighty doings of the Lord, or declare his praise? Psalm 106:2
Prayer - Steadfast God, you are always with me, in spite of my many wrongdoings. You are always here to guide me, to rescue me. Help me to always look to you first, in times of trouble and in times of plenty. May I delight in you, as you delight in me. May I constantly sing your praises with my words, my songs and my actions. Amen.

The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want; he makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. Psalm 23:1–2
Prayer - Lord God. The One who was, and is, and always will be. You have given me life and breath—my very being. In these times of danger and distress, turn my eyes to you. Shield me from my fears. Hide my soul in you. Let me not put myself in your place. Lead me to trust you completely—not myself. Lead me to turn to you . . . to breathe deeply . . . to draw in your Spirit. To rest, my God, in your everlasting love and care. Amen.
