Both we and our ancestors have sinned; we have committed iniquity, have done wickedly. Psalm 106:6
Prayer - God the evil and sin around us has been perpetuated from generation to generation. It is larger than our hearts and minds can hold. May your everlasting mercy, which is wider and deeper than any evil, take hold in my life. May your goodness and redemption reign down on our sin-soaked world. This day, give me eyes to see you at work in the people and institutions around me. Amen.

Blessed are those who act justly, who always do what is right. Psalm 106:3
Prayer - All-knowing God, you have shown me what it right and wrong, but I often don’t recognize the difference. I ask for the clarity of mind for me and all people to understand your justice and righteousness. In your mercy, forgive me and lead me down the path to act justly in love of all people. Amen.
