Prayer - God of contemplation and action, thank you for the space and tension that fosters learning and growth. Grant me wisdom to discern when I must hold back and when I must speak out, when I must be still and when I must move, when I must keep peace and when I must embrace conflict. May I learn to listen to what is needed, and not simply to what I want. Amen.

Prayer - Saving God, today I ask that you show your love and mercy in unexpected ways. You are the one I run to for safety and healing. You are the one I need when surrounded by enemies. Be with me this day and surprise me with your grace. Keep me close to your right hand as I seek to walk with courage and with faith. Amen.

Prayer - God of the humble, forgive my arrogance. May I not take for granted your boundless grace such that I lose self-awareness of my ability to hurt and harm. Help me to view tests on my heart not with pride and contempt, but with humility and openness, and help my mouth not hesitate to offer needed apologies. Amen.
